St. Mary’s Orthodox Church, Kanpur

The parish has 30 subscribing members and a total of 80-90 people attend the Holy Qurbana. Holy Qurbana is celebrated on all Sundays and Feast days. The spiritual organizations of the church are working efficiently with 15 students in Sunday school, MGOCSM (10 members), Youth Movement (12 members), AMOSS (10) & Martha Mariam Samajam (25 members). There is 1 prayer group and they meet regularly. The parish runs St. Mary’s Orthodox School, a Senior Secondary School having classes from Play Group to XII with 1200 students, 57 teachers and 38 staff members. The Church also manages a charitable Homeo dispensary for the local community
