St. John’s Orthodox Church, MayurVihar Phase-I

The Parish has strength of 158 subscribing members. The Holy Qurbana is celebrated on all Sundays, Friday (evening) and other Feast days. Around 450-500 people regularly attend the holy service. The Holy Qurbana in English & Hindi is being celebrated once in every three months. The weekly meeting of Prayer Group functioning in 9 areas strengthens the spirit of unity and fellowship among the parishioners. All spiritual organizations are active in the parish. The Sunday school has a strength of 85 students with 15 teachers from Nursery to 12th. The Martha Mariam Samajam (40 members), OCYM/OCMF (30 members), MGOCSM (20 members), Diaspora (15 members) and AMOSS (15 members) are functioning in an appreciable way. The Parish has undertaken various charity activities in co-ordination with the spiritual organizations such as looking after the cancer patients and construction of house for a deserving Parish Member.

St. John’s Model School and St. John’s School, Greater Noida both combined has a strength of 2450 students from LKG to VIII Std. with 111 Teaching & 26 non-teaching staff.
