St. Mary’s Orthodox Church, Chandigarh

With a subscribed membership of 39 and a regular attendance of 80-90 people, Holy Qurbana is celebrated on all Sundays and other Feast days. Sunday school is conducted regularly with 13 students; Youth Movement (20), Martha Mariam Samajam (11), MGOCSM (7) and Acolytes (8) are functioning very actively with a wide range of activities. There is 1 prayer group having around 100 people attending prayer meetings. The parish runs 2 CBSE affiliated schools, St. Mary’s School, Chandigarh and St. Mary’s School, Mohali having a total of 1672 students from nursery to class X, supported by 43 staff members and 79 teachers. Blood Donation Camp, Medical Check-up Camp and Health awareness programmes are held as a part of charity work.
