LOGOS – Annual Conference

By the immense grace of God, LOGOS 2023 concluded on Sunday successfully. The Diocesan MGOCSM Committee along with MGOCSM Mayur Vihar Phase-1 and the St. John’s Orthodox Church team organized it in a very magnificent way.

The support and guidance given by our beloved Thirumeni is always a great blessing and encouragement. On behalf of MGOCSM members, I thank you Thirumeni for your love for MGOCSM and its activities. Also thanking Rev. Fr. Saji Abraham , the Diocesan Secretary for his significant support and his presence during the Inaugural ceremony.

Rev. Fr. Philip Kuruvilla the keynote speaker led the conference with the thought provoking sessions based on the theme – IDENTITY IN CHRIST (1Peter 2:9). It was an eye opener for many youngsters to find their true identity in Christ.The sessions also addressed the main challenges faced by Christian youth and how to overcome them.

H. G. Geevarghese Mar Pachomios, Metropolitan of Diocese of Malabar was present on the Day 2 of logos 2023 and took a Bible class.

During the conference, various workshops were conducted on topics like – Music, Theatre, Photography, Oratory, Creative Communication, Creative Writing.

Special sessions on Mental health, Holy Confession and Reunite-with the senior friends were also conducted.

The meditation session – STHOTHRARPPAN followed by Holy Confession on Saturday evening was a life changer to many. Holy Qurbana was conducted in English on Sunday Morning.

The MGOCSM-DELHI is grateful to Rev. Fr. Aji K Chacko along with St. John’s family for his significant support in organizing this year’s LOGOS. Acha your effort and dedication are really appreciated.

The presence of our Dear Achens, Fr. Ninan Philip, Fr. Mathew Varghese, Fr. T. J. Johnson, Fr. Biju Daniel, Fr. John Jacob, Fr. Afilash T Issac, Fr. John Samuel, Fr. Saju Thomas, Fr. Binu B. Thomas, Fr. Geevarghese Jose, and our beloved deacons, Dn. Aaron Joshua and Dn. Emmanuel was really a blessing.

Presence of Mrs. Reeja Ninan the Principal of St. John’s School, Kochammas, and kids was really encouraging.

Around 217 delegates registered for the conference from 15 units. I extend my sincere gratitude to all Vicars, especially of Jaipur, Chandigarh & Ludhiana parishes for sending their MGOCSM members for this conference.
