St. Gregorios Orthodox Syrian Church, Jodhpur

The parish has 60 subscribing members with a total gathering of 150 people as an average attendance for Holy Qurbana. The Holy Qurbana is celebrated on 1st, 3rd, & 4th Sundays. The Spiritual organizations of the church have good strength, Sunday school class 1st to 10th has 30 students; MGOCSM (15 members), Youth Movement (10 members), and Martha Mariam Samajam (45 members) meet regularly. There is one prayer group consisting of 40 people. The Church run St. Gregorios School has 55 students, 6 teachers and 8 non-teaching staff from the play school level up to IInd standard. The school was recognised by the State Education Department as a Primary School with permit to run classes up to Class V. The Parish is trying and working to give its best in terms of time, effort and resources for the charity activities under the leadership of the Vicar. The Church is striving hard to develop its Primary School to a full-fledged Senior Secondary School for which we are in search of land which may cost above Rs. 1 crores and is in need of funds.
