St. George Orthodox Church, Jhansi

The church has 10 members and around 25 people attend the Holy Qurbana. The Holy Eucharist is celebrated on the 1st, 3rd & 4th Sundays of every month and all important feast days. Sunday school having 2 students, Marth Mariyam Samajam (10 members), Acolytes (3 members) and MGOCSM having 10 members meet regularly. About 20 families benefit from prayer group meetings. Special prayers are held on Thursday Evenings for the Intercession of St. George, apart from daily evening prayers. The parish is conducting charity works like rendering medical aid to the needy and providing food for the hungry under the guidance and leadership of the Vicar.
