30th November, 2025 – VIII Paulos Mar Gregorios Award, 2025
It has been the privilege of the Diocese of Delhi to hold the prestigious Award Ceremony in memory
of its first Metropolitan HG Dr. Paulos Mar Gregorios. The VIII Dr. Paulos Mar Gregorios Award this
year is being presented to Dr. Tessy Thomas, the ‘Missile Woman of India’ on Sunday, 30th November
2025 at the Tyagaraja Stadium, New Delhi.
As in the past years, the Award has been a matter of pride and mark of our unity and identity in the
National Capital Territory of Delhi. As in the previous years, the Sophia Society, the philanthropic
wing of the Diocese of Delhi, will be hosting the event. I would urge every member to uphold the
Award and all the arrangements therein, so that all our humble initiatives will be for the greater glory
of our Lord and for Church.

The Diocese of Delhi cordially invites you to Silver Bells 2025, a splendid joint Christmas Carol event at the Delhi Orthodox Centre on 16th December, 2025. With the blessings of H.G. Dr. Youhanon Mar Demetrios, Diocesan Metropolitan, this evening of festive cheer will feature melodious carols and an inspiring Christmas message by H.G. Mar Kuriakose Bharanikulangara.

Annual Diocesan General Assembly 2025
The Annual Diocesan General Assembly of the Diocese of Delhi will meet on Thursday, 24th July 2025 at 10.00 am at the Delhi Orthodox Centre. All the Priests, the Diocesan Assembly Representatives elected from the various parishes, the Diocesan Council Members, Sabha Managing Committee Members, both elected and nominated, are expected to attend the meeting.

The 47th Annual Diocesan General Assembly of the Diocese of Delhi will meet on Wednesday, 31st July 2024 at 10.30 am at the Delhi Orthodox Centre. All the Priests, the Diocesan Assembly Representatives elected from the various parishes, the Diocesan Council Members, Sabha Managing Committee Members, both elected and nominated, are expected to attend the meeting.

Diocesan Sunday School Competition 2023
15th October, 2023 – Sunday School Teacher’s Conference
OSSAE OKR (Delhi Diocese) Teachers’ One Day Conference was conducted at St. Stephen’s Orthodox Church, Dilshad Garden on 15th October 2023 immediately after the Holy Qurbana. Rev. Fr. John T Varghese Kulakkada was the Chief Resource person. The theme for the Conference was “Our competence is from God” (2 Corinthians 3:5).
District Inspectors and HM’s from various parishes of the Delhi Diocese were present for the occasion. The Conference was a great success as the teachers were able to receive the precious pearls of wisdom given by Rev. Fr. John T. Varghese, who explained how to be attentive towards the need of the students of our Church and shared his views about how not be a failure, but be a light to the children, who may illumine and bring light to the Church in future.
