15th October, 2023 – Sunday School Teacher’s Conference

OSSAE OKR (Delhi Diocese) Teachers’ One Day Conference was conducted at St. Stephen’s Orthodox Church, Dilshad Garden on 15th October 2023 immediately after the Holy Qurbana. Rev. Fr. John T Varghese Kulakkada was the Chief Resource person. The theme for the Conference was “Our competence is from God” (2 Corinthians 3:5).
District Inspectors and HM’s from various parishes of the Delhi Diocese were present for the occasion. The Conference was a great success as the teachers were able to receive the precious pearls of wisdom given by Rev. Fr. John T. Varghese, who explained how to be attentive towards the need of the students of our Church and shared his views about how not be a failure, but be a light to the children, who may illumine and bring light to the Church in future.

20th-22nd October, 2023 – LOGOS Annual Conference

The Annual Conference of MGOCSM Delhi Diocese – LOGOS 2023 will be held at St. John’s School, Greater Noida, hosted by St. John’s Orthodox Church, Mayur Vihar-I, from 20th October to 22nd October, 2023. Rev. Fr. Philip Kuruvilla, the founding Dean of St. Thomas Orthodox Theological Seminary, Nagpur, and the founding Director of “The Untouchables” will be the Chief Resource Person this year. The theme for this year’s LOGOS is ‘Identity in Christ’ based on the 1st Epistle of St. Peter 2:9The program will start by 5.30 pm on 20th October, 2023 with the Evening Prayer.

28th-29th October, 2023 – OCYM Annual Conference

The OCYM Annual Conference 2023 will be held on 28th and 29th October 2023 at St. Mary’s Orthodox Church, Kanpur. The Chief Resource Person will be H.G. Dr. Yuhanon Mar Meletius (Metropolitan of Thrissur Diocese), who will speak on the Theme: Rise! Let us go! (St. Mark 14:42)

26th July, 2023 – Aramana Chapel Perunnal

The Perunal of the St. Thomas Orthodox Chapel, Delhi Orthodox Centre as mentioned in the Annual Calendar falls on 27th July 2023.

Evening prayer will commence at 6.30 pm on Wednesday, 26th July 2023 followed by Holy Qurbana, Nercha and love feast. Rev. Fr. Saji Abraham, the newly elected Diocesan Secretary will lead the Holy Qurbana.

As we all duly acknowledge the pivotal role of the Aramana Chapel in our lives and that of the Diocese, all our parishioners and Achens in the Delhi and NCR parishes are requested to participate in the same and seek blessings of the Almighty.

23rd July, 2023 – MGOCSM Annual Day

The much-anticipated event conducted by the Delhi Unit of the MGOCSM is its Annual Day, scheduled for Sunday, 23rd July for this year. The Meeting will be held immediately after the Holy Qurbana at the St. Thomas Orthodox Church, Sarita Vihar and promises to be an interesting event.
The program will start by 10.30 am after Holy Qurbana. The theme for the meeting is “Living in Grace” Titus 2:11-12. Our beloved Thirumeni, the President of MGOCSM Delhi will inaugurate the programs and Ms. Reena Charles, Founder and Chairperson of Ek Ehsas Foundation will take sessions.

20th July, 2023 – 47th Annual Diocesan General Assembly

The 47th Annual Diocesan General Assembly of the Diocese of Delhi will meet on Thursday, 20th July 2023 at 10.30 am at the Delhi Orthodox Centre. All the Priests, the Diocesan Assembly Representatives elected from the various parishes, the Diocesan Council Members, Sabha Managing Committee Members, both elected and nominated, are expected to attend the meeting.

Delhi Orthodox Convention-2023

A long standing wish of the faithful members in the Diocese of Delhi is to have a Convention during the Lenten season. Thus, fulfilling the wish, a series of Conventions was held in such a way to facilitate the largest participation from our members in the Delhi NCR. The featured speaker for the Conventions was Rev. Fr. Gigi Mathews, Diocese of Chennai and held from 21st – 24th March 2023.

IOD Lenten Retreat 2023

The Annual Lenten Retreat of the Indian Orthodox Diaspora(Diocese of Delhi) was held on 05 March, 2023 at Mar Gregorios Orthodox Church, NOIDA. The Chief Resource Person for the Retreat was Rev. Fr. Dr. Jogy C. George (Professor of New Testament, STOTS Nagpur) who reflected his views on the theme “From Light to Darkness: The Spiritual Ascent”.
